Viratnagar is a village located about 120 miles from New Delhi. The primary language is Hindi. The economy is based off of agriculture. In the village, educational resources are limited, and most children cannot pursue higher education beyond high school. Though schools don't have many resources, teachers and mentors are very dedicated to children's education. These schools are dependent on outside support and funds.
The Manadan Foundation for Viratnagar is a registered 501c non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to support the educational needs of the children of the village of Viratnagar.
We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and the educational opportunities for the children of Viratnagar. The way we want to do this is by raising money to support basic needs such as purchasing supplies, clothes, literacy classes, and accessing basic technologies. Other ways this organization can support the educational mission of Viratnagar is through continued interaction and mentoring of students. We hope to engage more volunteers to create solutions that empower these schools and their students. The money raised will go to supporting education programs, health clinics, and community infrastructure projects.
